Position Overview:

Punch Tarmey's is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartenders to join our team. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our patrons by serving drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our Irish bar.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including traditional Irish drinks, cocktails, and beers, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.

Mixology:

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of mixology techniques to craft specialty cocktails and drinks unique to Punch Tarmey's.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the bar's offerings, including the selection of Irish whiskeys, beers, and other beverages, and provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

Bar Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Cash Handling:

Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide customers with receipts.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with fellow team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service and a seamless dining experience.

Entertainment:

Contribute to the lively atmosphere by participating in special events, live music nights, and other promotional activities.

Qualifications:

Previous Experience:

Prior experience working as a bartender in a similar establishment is preferred but not required.

Bartending Skills:

A strong understanding of bartending techniques, drink preparation, and cocktail knowledge is a plus.

Customer Focus:

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Communication:

Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, are essential.

Team Player:

Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Age Requirement:

Applicants must be of legal drinking age in the UK (18+).
