Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates should possess strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Previous food safety and food handling knowledge are essential to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting that values hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

Customer service:

Greet customers, take drink and food orders, provide recommendations, and handle complaints to ensure a positive experience.

Beverage preparation:

Mix drinks accurately according to recipes and customer requests, which can include cocktails, wine, and beer.

Bar maintenance:

Keep the bar and work area clean, wash glasses and utensils, and restock supplies like liquor, beer, and garnishes.

Inventory management:

Track inventory levels and order new supplies as needed to ensure the bar is adequately stocked.

Legal and safety compliance:

Verify customers' identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age and monitor for signs of intoxication to serve alcohol responsibly.

Financial transactions:

Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, process transactions accurately, and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
Essential skills and qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies. A positive, engaging, and professional demeanor. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: 12.00-18.26 per hour
