Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours. Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognising signs of intoxication to promote guest safety. Contribute to creating an energetic environment that encourages guest interaction and repeat visits.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle fast-paced shifts efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: 12.21-18.26 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
