Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly while maintaining a friendly demeanour. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations at all times. Manage cash transactions efficiently, including handling payments and giving correct change. Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and company policies. Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages. Engage with guests to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage repeat visits. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and upcoming events to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately. Good communication skills with the ability to engage courteously with diverse guests. A friendly personality with a professional attitude towards guest service. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
