Overview

Having run Number 5 in Shifnal for several years we are known for our cocktails and friendly personal service. We are now opening Seasons restaurant and bar to deliver our amazing classic and craft cocktails, alongside beautiful chef prepared seasonal food. This position will include weekend work and cocktail making knowledge is important. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that ensure smooth operations and exceptional service, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Create craft and classic cocktails to given recipes, showcasing knowledge of drink preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Handle cash transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bar and cocktail experience needed. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with guests effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy fast-paced environment.
