LSEG embarked on a multi-year Finance Transformation journey. We are delivering our Finance Vision by transforming the way we work to build value and deliver balanced growth for the business. The Program shall drive efficiency and improve benefits on Billing, Accounting, Finance Operations and Reporting for LSEG by moving to a single Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management supplier. This involves a greenfield ERP implementation allowing LSEG to embrace the latest cloud offerings and bring a future-proof platform.

PURPOSE: as part of LSEG\xe2\x80\x99s ERPM Program, the Testing Lead is responsible for teamwork across multiple workstreams to set up and run multiple Test phases working with a team of business and technical guides.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Own and lead the Test Management workstream end-to-end
  • Build a Test Strategy and approach to testing in collaboration with technology test leads, ensuring RACI and ways of working defined.
  • Partner with technology colleagues to align User Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing across multiple integrations
  • Participate in design phase to ensure right test scenarios are identified based on business scenarios
  • Work with the architecture, business, functional and technical teams to define a test plan and schedule
  • Ensure adequate business engagement and users identified to perform testing
  • Evaluate impacted environments and applications new and existing prepare the testing scope
  • Recommend industry standard testing and validation procedures to achieve the best results for LSEG
  • Setup and supervise entry and exit criteria, verify and validate baselined test cases for execution, author test report and sign-off key work you\'re doing for various test phases.
  • Set up and lead defect resolution and evaluate the impact on business for each item
  • Work closely with technology test lead to put in place automated testing where possible
  • Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
  • Continually update relevant business partners of the workstream status and periodically publish project status reports in accordance with Change Framework requirements.
  • Work closely with internal/external partners e.g. business process owners, architecture, data owners, project managers, cutover managers, suppliers and outsourcing organisations etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree or equivalent and / or relevant professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in delivering sophisticated Test Management
  • Expertise in testing multiple systems in a scheduled timeframe
  • Project Management skills to deliver projects, in addition to Test Management
  • Prioritising and co-ordinating UAT testers and driving UAT to a published timeline
  • Partnering with Technology Testing Leads to cover end to end testing
  • Experience and knowledge of large scale, global, change programmes and portfolio management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the tried ability to work optimally with all interpersonal levels
  • Expert knowledge of project management and testing methodologies & tools
  • Global experience, working optimally with teams in multiple locations simultaneously
  • Experience in large financial services organisations working across business and IT related projects/programmes
  • Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
  • Knowledge of various types of testing: User acceptance testing, system integration testing, non-functional testing, regression testing etc.
