Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Salon Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing daily operations, and fostering a positive environment for both employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Client Experience

Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

Team Leadership

Lead, motivate, and support a team of beauty therapists and front-of-house staff Schedule staff rotas, manage attendance, and support team performance reviews Coach and develop team members to reach their individual and collective potential Ensure all staff adhere to salon policies and professional standards Training new starters and assist in training and ups killing of the team.

Sales & Business Development

Monitor salon KPIs, including revenue, rebooking, and retail sales targets Promote treatments, offers, and retail products to maximise profitability Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions Track stock levels, manage orders, and ensure cost-effective inventory control

Reporting & Admin

Maintain accurate client records and team documentation Provide weekly reports on sales, stock, and staffing to the Director Work with the Director to ensure all health, safety, and employment law obligations are met Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health & safety Manage client bookings, walk-ins, and resolve any service concerns professionally Deliver and uphold exceptional client care standards across all services

Services

Ability to perform services including; Manicure and Pedicure with polish and gel Generic facials Electrical facials including Caci Laser hair removal Hot and strip waxing including intimate waxing Massage Tinting Lash Lifts Microneedling Chemical Peels

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the beauty or salon industry is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Strong customer service ethic with a calm, professional approach Proficient in time management to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to providing outstanding service to clients. Confident using booking and POS software (e.g., Shortcuts, premier spa or similar) NVQ Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy and advanced aesthetic treatments
