Job Summary

EMPRESS GOLD Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality beauty services. The Hairdressing and Beauty Salon Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of Empress Gold Ltd. This includes managing salon staff, coordinating services, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth delivery of all treatments and services in line with company standards. The manager will also support business growth through client retention, marketing strategies, and staff training.

Duties

Handling scheduling and appointment booking of customers.

Managing salon inventory likes; ordering and tracking beauty products, tools, and supplies. Assisting with payroll and timesheets for salon staff. o Coordinating team meetings and training session. Promoting retail product sales and salon services. Managing customer complaints or issues in a professional and friendly manner. Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Mentor and train staff in various services including barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application. Maintain salon cleanliness and organisation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Level 5 or higher qualification in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, or Salon Management (or international equivalent). An underlying university degree will be an advantage. Minimum 3 years of experience in a salon setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Understanding of salon software systems (e.g., booking platforms, POS). Knowledge of health and safety, cosmetic regulations, and hygiene standards within a salon environment. Previous experience in an administrative or support role is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy. Familiarity with general office procedures and practices. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
