We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive
Salon Receptionist & Operations Coordinator
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy salon environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
You will be the first point of contact for our clients while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the salon, including administration, stock control and light marketing support. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Front-of-House Duties
Greet clients with a warm, friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries and manage appointment bookings
Provide accurate information about salon services, treatments and retail products
Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and manage end-of-day cashing up
Maintain a clean, calm and organised reception area at all times
Administration & Operations
Support the smooth daily running of the salon
Manage client records and booking systems
Assist with staff rotas, appointment coordination and diary management
Monitor, manage and reorder salon stock and supplies
Liaise with suppliers and handle deliveries
Support basic reporting and admin tasks as required
Marketing & Business Support
Assist with social media posting and content scheduling
Support in-salon promotions, offers and campaigns
Help maintain salon branding standards across reception and client touchpoints
Encourage and support retail and treatment upselling in line with salon values
Team Support
Communicate effectively with therapists, management and clients
Assist therapists with salon tasks when needed to ensure smooth client flow
Be a reliable, positive presence within the team
Skills & Experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Confident using booking systems, phones and basic computer software
Basic math skills for handling payments and cash transactions
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in a salon, reception, admin or customer-facing role is preferred
Interest in beauty, wellbeing and client care
