We are conveniently located in Kensington, just a short walk from both Gloucester Road Station (Piccadilly, District & Circle lines) and High Street Kensington Station (District & Circle lines).

About the Position:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Hair Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and eager to contribute to the smooth running of our salon.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome. Manage appointment bookings and handle client inquiries. Maintain client records and manage the salon's schedule. Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication. Process payments and manage the salon's cash register. Keep the reception area clean and organized. Assist with retail product sales and provide information on services offered. Support the salon team with administrative tasks as needed. Book appointments on our computer software, Isalon. Accurate cashing up. Check clients in and offer refreshments. Maintain a clean working space. Provide strong levels of customer service consistently. Manage low levels of stock.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role (preferred but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer skills. Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. English is required.
