. While the showroom is open to the public, footfall is currently modest, so the successful candidate must be
proactive, self directed, and commercially minded
able to stay productive without relying on walk in customers.
This role is critical to converting
swatch requests into orders
, maintaining a professional showroom environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational flow between the showroom, Shopify and CRM systems.
Responsibilities
Showroom Operations
Open, manage, and close the showroom during scheduled hours
Keep the showroom
immaculately clean, styled, and presentable at all times
Light cleaning duties (floors, surfaces, beds dressed correctly)
Confidently host and advise any walk-in customers when they do attend
Swatch Fulfilment & Management
Pack and post
daily fabric swatch orders
Monitor Shopify to ensure:
Swatches have been dispatched
Swatches have been received
Proactively identify and resolve:
Lost, delayed, or incorrect swatches
Customer queries relating to samples
Sales Follow-Up & Conversion
Call customers who have received swatches but have
not yet ordered
Professionally and warmly:
Understand objections
Answer questions
Capture feedback and buying barriers
Log outcomes clearly in the CRM
Follow up appropriately to drive conversions (no hard selling, but confident commercial dialogue)
E-commerce & CRM Administration
Confident use of:
Shopify (order checks, swatch tracking, basic customer queries)
CRM system (logging calls, notes, objections, follow-ups)
Flag recurring issues or objections to management
Support broader online sales activity where required
Experience
Essential
Confident phone manner (warm calling)
Comfortable speaking to customers about high value purchases
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay productive during quiet periods
Competent with digital systems (Shopify, CRM, email)
Professional, well-presented and trustworthy
Desirable
Experience in furniture, interiors, luxury retail or homeware
Previous e-commerce or showroom experience
Sales or customer follow-up background
Any content creation experience would be helpful

a high footfall retail role.

Working Hours are flexible from 10:30am-5pm Monday- Sunday
