Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support the development and well-being of children within our educational and childcare programmes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience with early childhood education, and a passion for guiding young learners. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives by fostering their academic, social, and behavioural growth through personalised mentoring and support.

Responsibilities



Provide one-on-one mentoring to children, focusing on their individual needs and developmental goals Support children with speech therapy exercises, maths activities, and early childhood education programmes Assist with behaviour management strategies to promote positive conduct and social skills Implement tutoring sessions in various subjects, including literacy, numeracy, and physical education Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists such as speech therapists or special educators to develop tailored support plans Monitor progress and provide feedback on developmental milestones and behavioural improvements Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development Maintain accurate records of mentoring sessions, progress notes, and behavioural observations Uphold a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children's confidence and independence

Qualifications



Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential Knowledge of early childhood education principles and specialised areas such as speech therapy or applied behaviour analysis is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Background in special education or tutoring is advantageous Ability to manage behaviour constructively and employ behaviour management techniques Proven organisational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and tracking progress Childcare or preschool experience is preferred but not mandatory; a genuine passion for mentoring young learners is essential
