We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team delivering behaviour support across the academy. You will have a commitment to the inclusive and restorative ethos of Ormiston Endeavour Academy and to the academic achievement of all students.
The post is offered working 37 hours per week, 39 working weeks per year (term time plus 1 week to include personal development days).
Ormiston Endeavour Academy is an 11-16 secondary Academy situated in north-east Ipswich. As an Academy which has seen significant growth over the last two academic years, we take pride in the high levels of support, care and challenge we offer all of our students. Endeavour students are warm, welcoming and willing to push themselves to succeed. Purpose of the job
Alongside supporting the supervision of students in the isolation room, the role will involve some pastoral administration work; including leading on the management of the school's centralised detention and behaviour system and assisting with on-call. You will be resilient with the ability to help students reflect on their behaviour, alongside excellent communication skills and good IT skills.
