We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be adept at assembling, fabricating, and installing various structures and fixtures. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications. Fabricate custom components as required for various projects. be able to run out own material using machines inside the joinery. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct painting and finishing work to ensure a polished appearance of completed projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met. Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site, particularly when handling heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: 14.80-20.00 per hour
