Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install wooden structures, such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
- Install hardware, such as hinges and handles, onto finished products
- Repair or replace damaged wooden components
- Work with masonry materials to construct foundations or supports for wooden structures
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a joiner or similar role
- Proficient in working with wood and masonry materials
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in joinery work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or bending
- Familiarity with plumbing, roofing, electrical work, or painting is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
