Here at Halo Medical, we provide a range of services to NHS, and private patients. The service includes the provision of high quality and experienced clinicians, and a manufacturing and product portfolio to cover all aspects of treatment. We use a combination of made to measure and off the shelf devices to ensure optimum treatment and comfort. Digital scanning and computer aided manufacture of insoles and braces ensures that our Orthoses are manufactured to a high degree of accuracy.

We are currently looking to strengthen our insole team, are you detail-oriented with a passion for biomechanics and digital design? We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our growing orthopaedic team, specialising in the design and development of custom insoles and foot orthotics.

Key Responsibilities

Use CAD/CAM software to design and modify custom orthopaedic insoles based on clinician input, 3D scans, and patient needs.

Interpret prescription information and foot scan data accurately.

Collaborate with orthotists, podiatrists, and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal fit, function, and comfort.

Maintain digital records and manage workflow within our CAD systems.

Ensure all designs meet clinical and quality standards.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software with experience in using Voxelcare preferred.

Background in orthopaedics, biomechanics, product design, or related fields.

Strong attention to detail and understanding of anatomy and gait analysis.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Experience with 3D scanning/printing or CNC milling is a bonus.
