Location:

Tullyalley Shopping Centre, Churchbrae.

Hours:

Opening hours Sunday - Saturday, 9am-9.30pm. Contracted hours will be allocated on a weekly rota basis.

Salary:

Starting at minimum wage+ , regular increases with experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a dependable, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our friendly betting shop team. This role suits someone who enjoys a dynamic, lively environment where no two days are the same. Full training is provided -- no prior betting shop experience is necessary but we require experience in cash handling and/or customer service through retail experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service Take and process bets using our bespoke computer systems (training provided) Operate the cash register, handling transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment Uphold shop presentation standards at all times Manage customer queries and complaints professionally and calmly Upsell additional products and services where appropriate Communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues Handle occasional busy periods with a calm, focused attitude

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

Strong organisation skills and attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and processes Excellent communication skills; able to build positive relationships easily Comfortable dealing with challenging situations in a professional way Interest in sports is an advantage (but not essential - full training provided) Excellent phone etiquette. English language speaking and listening
