The role requires strong technical expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL to transform complex datasets into insightful visualisations that support business decision-making.
You will work with data from multiple sources - both cloud-based and on-premise - and ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of reporting solutions. Familiarity with pensions data is highly desirable, as you will be expected to handle sensitive and regulated information with precision and compliance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualisations.
Build and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting needs.
Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based platforms.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all reporting solutions.
Support the development and maintenance of semantic data models and DAX measures.
Participate in the attestation and governance processes as outlined in the Power BI Framework and Software Development Policy.
Provide training and support to business users to effectively handover the Power BI solutions for ongoing user ownership & management.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet requirements.
Engage with report consumers to assess and define the best approach to building value add reports.
Produce the reporting solution in line with a consumer ownership model to enable stakeholder handover for ongoing management.
