What you'll be doing



To be the main lead in all business tender submissions for both the long term and short term hire solutions.

Acting as a bridge between commercial, operational and client facing teams.

This role ensures all submissions are professionally written, commercially robust and competitively priced, the full end to end process.

A pivotal role in securing major contracts and ensuring the place of the business on the frameworks. Leading a team by example to deliver the right solution to contract implementation.

About You

Essential

Excellent commercial acumen, along with written communication skills, and proven experience in stakeholder management.

Professional client focused attitude.

Proven experience of managing commercial bids and tenders within the public sector to tight deadlines.

Working knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations.

Capable of managing multi-functional teams comprising both direct reports and other stakeholders.

Desirable

Understanding of Local Government services.

Familiarity with digital procurement platforms such as Delta eSourcing or Proactis.

Experience in commercial vehicle or logistics industry.

Understanding of Net Zero, ESG and Social Value requirements in public procurement.

APMP accreditation or equivalent proposal and bid qualification.

Project management qualification such as Prince2 or equivalent.

Working hours



40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 (1 hour lunch).
