Job Title: Bill of Materials Coordinator - Caravan Manufacturing



Location: Leads Rd Hull,



Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 5.45pm



Salary: 26,000 per annum (increasing on successful probation)

Position Overview:



The Bill of Materials (BOM) Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the accurate creation, maintenance, and management of Bills of Materials for all caravan models and product variants. This position supports engineering, procurement, and production teams by providing precise and up-to-date material information to ensure efficient manufacturing, cost control, and product consistency.

Key Responsibilities:



Create and Maintain BOMs for all caravan/Twin Unit models, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and configurations. Collaborate with Engineering and Design Teams to incorporate design changes, component updates, and product revisions. Ensure Data Accuracy across ERP/MRP systems Standardise BOM Structures to ensure consistency and compliance Analyse Material Usage and support cost estimations, product pricing, and waste reduction initiatives. Support New Product Introductions (NPI) Liaise with Suppliers and Procurement to verify material specifications and lead times. Perform BOM Audits to validate that production aligns with approved engineering drawings and part lists. Assist production teams with resolving discrepancies Generate detailed reports for management

Skills & Qualifications:



Essential:



Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Desirable:



Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
