Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Binding Authority Technician in our Group Operations function within Binder Management. This individual will have previous experience in a similar role, providing prompt, accurate and effective technical administration (and processing) support directly to clients and business unit.

Role Responsibilities



Liaise with Account Executives to achieve agreement from markets where required and maintaining diary/pending system to monitor progress Maintain accurate and concise client files, using the corporate document management system Liaise with compliance to ensure all procedures are followed Learn and perform mapping tasks in a lead capacity to allow for processing automation of the Binder portfolio Assist with the onboarding of new Binder clients to Miller Work with the output of automated processes and be responsible for maintaining accurate data and records within Binder management system Ensure that risk, premium and claim data reports are received, processed and settled within specified timescales and service levels Process, monitor and update aggregate numbers and provide relevant commentary on utilisation and monitor premium against GPI Review, monitor and provide timely resolution to technical questions from clients, markets, credit control, claims and the business unit, to ensure that the client's best interests are maintained Provide updates and progress reports to management as required Maintain diary system to ensure that files are appropriately progressed Perform quality control checks on all documentation Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of Miller, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls. Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at Miller, such as Lloyd's byelaws and FCA rules. Promote Miller brand and values to enhance Miller's reputation in the market

Experience


Experience in a similar role required. Knowledge of the mapping process required (Premium, Claims and Risk) Proficient attention to detail. CII qualifications are preferred but not required.
