We are looking for a Broker Support Technician, with Binding Authority (DUA) experience to join the team. This role will report to the Head of Operations/COO.

This is an ideal role for a confident, personable, and hardworking individual to work in a great team whilst gaining valuable experience to progress within the organisation and the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. You will be expected to prioritise tasks effectively, maintain accuracy under pressure, and support several stakeholders with competing deadlines. A methodical yet flexible approach will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities



This is a hybrid operational and governance-focused role requiring strict adherence to our Internal Procedures and Controls. You will work across client servicing, delegated authority operations, and most importantly processing/operations support for key elements of our business.

Broker Support Operations



Slip and Documentation production for open market business Policy and Contract Management - Processing renewals, amendments and cancellations efficiently Bordereaux Administration - Manage premium, claims, and risk bordereaux submission and validation as part of ongoing governance and reporting Account Reconciliation - perform regular reconciliations of broker accounts Maintaining accurate client records in the broking systems/compliance protocols Claims administration - as required. Internal coordination - Work closely with finance to handle payments, premium collection, and account reconciliations. Support audit and governance processes. Compliance and System Governance ensure documentation and processes align with FCA, Lloyd's, and internal standards. Maintain logs, retention schedules, audits, and use market systems (e.g., Atlas, PPL, Crystal etc.).

Binder Authority Support



Binder Setup & Administration Bordereaux Handling & Quality Control Stakeholder Liaison & Due Diligence Renewals & Performance Monitoring Compliance & Audit Support

Other Support



Credit Control - proactively monitor aged debt positions, liaise with clients and insurers to ensure prompt premium settlement, and escalate overdue items as necessary As required by the CEO & Founder and COO on various projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

A desire to build a career within the insurance industry, and be: Familiar with insurance systems (LIMOSS, Atlas, DCOM, ECF, PPL or equivalent) Confident when dealing with various stakeholders and clients, and have good communication skills including, written, verbal and face-to-face. Able to work independently and use initiative. Network extensively and be able to build sustainable working relationships. An Analytical mindset. Good decision-making skills. Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets. Professional and personable. Able to positively react to change and be resilient and calm under pressure.

Knowledge and Experience



A minimum of 12+ months of experience within a similar role or function A quick learner and comfortable working with multiple systems Strong planning and organisational skills Very strong numerical skills- you will also have a proven capability using Excel Spreadsheets. Accuracy and a high level of attention to detail, along with a tenacious attitude to see problems and queries to a close Strong customer service skills/ strong working relationships with the ability to challenge
