Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our team with the ability to fit some or all of the below products:

Blinds (manual and/or motorised)

Plantation Shutters

Curtains and tracks

Patio awnings

We are considering part time and full time applicants and are open to considering both PAYE and self employed subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate installation of various window treatments, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in the industry and familiarity with a variety of tools and techniques.

Duties

Install window treatments including blinds, shutters, awnings and curtains according to specifications and customer preferences. Measure and assess window dimensions to ensure proper fit and installation. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on window treatment options. Perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use. Follow safety protocols while working on-site, especially when dealing with heights or electrical components.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Familiarity with the trade is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics for proper installation procedures. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the installation process. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to various job sites. Pay: 35,000.00-60,223.06 per year

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
