Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Boba-Rista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing delicious bubble tea beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth operation during busy hours. Previous experience in food service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position also includes the upkeep of an oriental snack supermarket, restocking shelves, pricing and labelling items. The position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Prepare a variety of bubble tea drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sanitising equipment and utensils Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the shop is prepared for each shift

Skills

Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to serve customers promptly during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Friendly, approachable attitude with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
