We are looking for an additional full time

Sales & Design Consultant

for BoConcept at Cookes, our new 300 m2 showroom on the border of Sutton Coldfield & Erdington.

Primarily a sales role

, the job is focused on helping customers redesign / restyle the living spaces in their homes with BoConcept furniture.

The

ideal candidate will already have a great understanding of interior design or styling

, preferably with furniture (or similar) sales experience.

A passion for Scandi minimalist design and great 'people' skills are advantages too.

Job description

Understanding client needs and creating compelling design solutions based on the BoConcept collection. Achieving sales targets and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Cooperating with other team members to create convincing design & styling proposals Providing a responsive service to residential (B2C) customers and professional (B2B) clients such as property developers and interior design agencies Staying updated with the latest interior design trends and BoConcept product knowledge Making appointments for customers for the Interior Design Service Pro-actively following up customers on enquiries, sales orders and deliveries to ensure a high level of sales & after sales service

Candidate requirements

You have a background in interior design or have a related art , textile or design qualification. You are experienced at, and enjoy sales with a record of success, ideally in similar high-engagement, high value sector. You are confident and outgoing, with excellent interpersonal skills, a listener as well as a guide. You are disciplined and self-motivated, understanding the importance of follow-up processes and sales administration. You enjoy product learning and staying up to date with design trends. You are interested in a longer-term role in premium retail. You've good experience with MS Office and have a super attention to detail. Ideally you have experience with 3D rendering software You realise that retail means regularly working weekends, this is fine for you. You are living in Birmingham / Sutton Coldfield and within an easy commute of B23.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,000.00-38,000.00 per year
