BOM Manager

to lead our Bill of Materials processes and systems.

The Role

As our

BOM Manager

, you will oversee the creation, accuracy, and integrity of the master Bill of Materials across all automotive projects. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure that all components, assemblies, and materials are correctly documented and managed throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Own and maintain accurate, up-to-date BOMs for all vehicle platforms and subassemblies Ensure seamless integration between engineering design and production systems Implement and enforce BOM structure standards and version control protocols Coordinate change management processes (ECOs, ECNs) across departments Collaborate with supply chain to validate material sourcing, lead times, and costs Liaise with ERP/MRP and PLM system teams to maintain data integrity Identify opportunities for BOM optimization and cost savings Support new product introductions (NPIs) from prototype to production

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a BOM Manager or Configuration Manager in the automotive or manufacturing industry Strong understanding of engineering drawings, part structures, and change control Proficient with PLM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Windchill, Teamcenter) Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Strong communicator and team player who can bridge technical and operational teams Knowledge of EV systems and automotive components is a plus

Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field Experience with ISO/TS16949 or IATF 16949 compliance Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma background
