We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software, including Xero and QuickBooks, to manage accounts payable and other financial tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Utilise accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
Provide support for any ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
Experience managing accounts payable is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
