to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks, completing VAT returns for clients, and processing payroll. You will be working closely with other members of the team to ensure our clients receive accurate, timely, and compliant services.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for a range of clients
Prepare and submit VAT returns on Excel spreadsheets, in line with HMRC requirements
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for clients (on bespoke software)
Ensure all payroll records are accurate and comply with current legislation
Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and answer queries
Work collaboratively with the wider team to support client needs
Skills & Experience:
Previous bookkeeping experience is desirable
Pay offered will depend on previous experience
Experience in payroll processing would be an advantage- further training will be provided
Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
Comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Office (training on specific systems provided)
