Are you an experienced finance professional with excellent Sage skills and a passion for accuracy? We're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to manage our day-to-day financial operations -- including payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and supporting our company accountant.

What You'll Be Doing:
Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Accounts
Posting and managing sales invoices, credit control, and tracking payments
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Completing monthly bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Processing accurate, end-to-end payroll using Sage Payroll, including pensions, tax, and statutory payments
Submitting HMRC returns and maintaining employee payroll records
Assisting the company accountant with financial tasks and year-end preparations
Handling payroll and finance queries from staff and stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent); part-qualified accountant welcome
At least 5 years' experience in bookkeeping and payroll
Proficient in Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll (essential)
Strong understanding of UK payroll, pensions, and HMRC requirements
Confident in invoicing, reconciliations, and maintaining ledgers
High attention to detail, organised and proactive
Experience in the care or non-profit sector (desirable)
