We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits as required.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles.
Property accounting experience would also be desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial for success in this role.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
