Job Introduction

Landmarc are currently seeking a Bookings Administrator to manage the Bidding and Allocation Management System (BAMS).


In this role, you'll work in a unique environment, handling enquiries from both military and civilian personnel. You'll be the first point of contact, helping users understand and follow the MODs bidding process so they can effectively plan and manage their training using the BAMS system.

Main Responsibilities

To be responsible for carrying out any appropriate administrative duties focussed upon support of the Bidding and Allocation Management Systems (BAMS). Be the first point of contact for customers dealing with all matters relating to bids for training facilities. Working closely as an Industry Partner to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), who are the estate experts for defence. To be responsible for accurately extracting data from BAMS to compile supplementary service orders in support of training activity such as portable sanitation. Co-ordinate and upload reports on the Booking Management System Assist with the provision of a full and effective administrative service Including;

o typing

o photocopying

o stationery control

o other associated administrative functions

Implement and maintain effective information storage retrieval systems Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective contract delivery Develop and maintain trusted relationships

The Ideal Candidate

Office and Administration skills

Numeracy and literacy skills

Excellent communication skills people on all levels

Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives to set standards

Ability to follow processes within time constraints


Essential Criteria



Must hold Valid UK Driving Licence

A good level of numeracy and literacy gained through a Level 2 qualification such as a G.C.S.E. grade A-C or equivalent or proven experience

Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word and Excel to a high standard

Desirable



Ability to use bespoke and off the shelf software packages

Experience of booking systems

Knowledge of the Defence Training Estate
