An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a very busy Imaging Bookings Team within the Imaging Appointment Centre with a part time position available.
An effective communicator, you will be expected to provide an efficient and effective administrative service, ensuring compliance with department procedures and safe recruitment processes.
The role will entail taking calls from patients to assist in booking outpatient appointments and dealing with any patient enquires that result from the calls. There will also be a number of other appointment related tasks that will need to be completed during the course of the working day; therefore, the work will be varied and interesting.
The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of working in a highly demanding environment where excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are paramount.

6. Optimise opportunities for sessions to go ahead by arranging alternative cover, when problems arise.
7. Liaise with all levels of medical staff to ensure the effective and efficient running of lists.
8. Advise patients and medical staff on special procedures and preparations required to ensure a
successful examination.
9. Dispatching appointment letters ensuring all relevant information and leaflets are included.
10. Tracing notes on the iPM system.
