We currently have an opportunity for a

Bookings Clerk / Administrator

to join our busy Logistics team in Corby. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, personable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

As part of the logistics support team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and confirming customer bookings for retail deliveries across the UK and Ireland. You'll work closely with planners and logistics coordinators to help finalise daily delivery schedules, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain clear lines of communication with both internal teams and external partners.

This role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate and confirm customer bookings for deliveries within agreed timescales. Liaise with hauliers, planners, and customers to ensure delivery requirements are met. Maintain accurate booking records and update internal systems as required. Support logistics coordinators with day-to-day administrative tasks. Handle customer queries professionally via telephone and email. Work proactively to resolve any scheduling or delivery issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:



Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent literacy and numeracy. Proven ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment.
