We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our company's financial records. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, experience with accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy.
Tasks:
Bi weekly Payment run to manage - Prepare all purchase invoices, add to the payment spreadsheet ready for processing
Weekly Credit Control cycle
Daily Bank/Paypal/VAT account reconciling
Maintain accurate general ledger entries
Assist with Payroll processing
Maintain financial records and documentation
Keep the finance manual fully up to date
Preparing monthly reports to hand over for meeting
Responding to Emails and dealing with any queries
Experience / Skills:
Previous experience in similar role
Part Qualified AAT or equivalent
Good Knowledge of Mircrosoft Office/Google Sheets
Accounts Program experience with Xero is greatly beneficial
Great attention to detail
Comfortable working and managing the day to day running of the accounts
Keeping to deadlines and working in line with the monthly cycle to keep all accounts and work up to date
