Job Summary



You will work across several related companies. The primary role is for bookkeeping and administration. The ideal applicant will also have some experience, knowledge or desire in project management, marketing, and / or website design.

Built Square Ltd is a small, dynamic, friendly and professional property development company, specialising in bringing tired and rundown houses and small blocks of flats back to life. KME Property Ltd is a property investment and letting business with a portfolio of approx 30 properties.
Candidates need to be able to self-manage their time, have excellent previous references, good people and communication skills, and be impeccably trustworthy.

Pay will be reflective of experience. For the right candidate that is motivated and can add some sparkle, there may be the opportunity to earn additional annual performance related bonuses.

This is a remote position, although priority would be given to anyone living locally to Bristol or the South-West /Midlands in general.

Bookkeeping



Applicants need to be confident and competent in using Xero software and excel sheets.

Account and bank feed reconciliation. Creating bespoke reports from Xero. Managing payroll / CIS / VAT returns. Dealing with trade / supplier accounts and invoices. Separating the various component of property purchases and sales. Understand & compute how mortgage payments separate into interest & capital repayment.

Office Administrator



Essential Skills*

Contacting utility companies to register for / terminate supply, setting up direct debits, etc.
Make / Receive calls to resolve issues with utility suppliers/ invoice queries, etc.
Working with Project Manager to record and check employees' holidays, working hours and invoices from subcontractors.
Organise online Team meetings.
Organise and arrange Gas & Electric Safety visits / certification.

Preferred Skills*

Project Management.
Outlook - Improvement and oversight.
Organise marketing, business cards, advertising boards etc.
Oversee website development.
Organise leafleting campaign.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-24.00 per hour
