Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Duties



Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner. Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and making payments. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are addressed promptly. Prepare financial reports for management review, highlighting key financial metrics. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Skills



Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
