We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software or systems as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
