Glaslyn Care Homes Ltd runs two Care Homes. Glaslyn Court is based in spacious mature grounds in Gilwern near Abergavenny and our other Care Home is based in Brynmawr. We are committed to ensuring that all of our residents are treated with care and dignity.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Bookkeeper / Credit Controller to join our team in a nursing home business. This is a key role responsible for managing the financial operations and supporting the smooth running of the business.

Responsibilities:

Sales ledger and debtor control

Purchase ledger and creditor control Assist in payroll processing, including accounts payable and data entry Bank reconciliations and overall bookkeeping Liaising with external accountants for statutory accounts preparation General financial administration and support

Requirements



Proven experience in bookkeeping and credit control (essential) Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficiency in Xero, Dext, and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills Relevant qualifications helpful but not essential

Desirable



Experience in the healthcare or nursing home sector
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
