Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. You will oversee and manage all bookkeeping activities alongside our Trainee bookkeeper, with the support of our external accountants.
Duties:
Oversee and manage accounts receivables, accounts payable and bank reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly
Manage supplier payment runs
Ensure compliant with financial regulations, tax requirements and company policies
Oversee internal controls
Manage internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing queries
Prepare monthly reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Mentor trainee bookkeeper
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Experience using an order management system (we use unleashed)
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Great attention to detail and organisational skills
A problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills
AAT qualification (level 3) or equivalent experience
Passion for fitness/strength training advantageous but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
