Oakleafe Claims Ltd is one of the UK's leading Insurance Loss Assessing firms, proudly supporting policyholders through the claims process with professionalism, integrity, and compassion. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team, supporting the financial operations of multiple group companies.

The Role




We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a minimum of 10 years' experience in either practice or industry. This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong reconciliation skills and in-depth experience using Xero accounting software.


You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across our group structure, supporting VAT compliance, and assisting with the daily financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:




Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple group company bank accounts.


Reconcile supplier bills, sales invoices, and inter-company transactions.


Prepare and file VAT returns for all group companies.


Maintain clear, accurate digital records to support VAT inputs and outputs.


Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors as needed.


Ensure adherence to HMRC requirements and deadlines

Requirements:




Minimum 10 years of bookkeeping experience (practice or industry).


Proficient in Xero (multi-entity experience highly desirable).


Strong understanding of UK VAT rules and digital record-keeping obligations.


Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


Ability to manage multiple priorities across a group structure.


Self-starter with a proactive and professional approach.
