We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Provide support during budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues.
