Job description
We are a large distributor, retailer and manufacturer of E- liquids, Vape Kits and associated vape equipment. Due to a continued expansion of our business (currently one of the largest in the UK supplying over 4,500 accounts) we are looking for an additional Book Keeper with a passion to learn and grow and become an invaluable addition to our in-house accounts team of 4.
Your Duties Will Include:
1) Daily invoicing from delivery notes
2) Daily invoice postings to sage
3) Entering cash receipts
4) Petty cash receipts to be entered onto sage to then bank reconcile
5) Printing the bank statement daily, accurately entering the receipts and payments onto sage making sure there are no queries / missing invoices
6) Printing sales reports (PayPal, Sagepay and WorldPay) on a daily basis.
7) Locating orders in relation to the receipts on the report , informing management / sales team of any queries or discrepancies
Purchase Ledger:
1) Processing invoices onto the ledger
2) Match delivery notes to invoices
3) Check the prices on invoices
4) Preparing weekly payments
5) Chase missing invoices and matching to prepayments
6) Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any issues
7) Performing housekeeping tasks to keep ledger tidy
8) Liaising with invoice approver re approval
9) Process Expense claims and reconcile credit card statement
10) Check import VAT / Duty
11) Other admin duties
The ideal candidate will possess:
1) Qualified with the AAT or some form of A-level / BTEC equivalent.
2) Sage 50
3) Microsoft Excel
4) Previous experience in a similar role
5) experience with sage
6) Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal
40 hours a week
