We are seeking a Bookkeeper to support the Head of Finance in managing the group's accounting and administrative functions. The role involves handling invoices, reconciling accounts, monitoring payments, and ensuring financial processes are efficient and compliant. The successful candidate will also assist with general administration and serve as a point of contact for staff, clients, and external providers.
Responsibilities
Processing invoices (raising, sending, and paying)
Managing expense requests
Credit control and chasing late payments
Maintaining the cash book
Updating purchase and sales ledgers
Performing bank reconciliations
Raising sales invoices
Liaising with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
Carrying out general administrative tasks
Updating and maintaining finance procedures and documentation
Experience
4-5 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping role
A-Level or BTEC qualification in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent)
Additional accounting qualifications such as AAT, or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (desirable)

Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero (desirable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Highly organized with the ability to manage workloads independently and efficiently
Flexible and eager to learn, with a commitment to high-quality work
