Summary

We are seeking a skilled PART TIME Bookkeeper to join our team in the logistics sector. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting our commitment to exceptional service. The position is based in Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 9QH.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance within compliance standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Utilize accounting software such as SAGE 50 for efficient bookkeeping. Check & reconcile supplier statements. Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations. Assist with general operations and answering phones. 12 hours across two days per week, 10am-4:30pm preferably Tuesday & Thursday, with half an hour for lunch.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in SAGE 50 and other accounting software. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable. Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
