We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes within the organisation. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Xero is essential.
Duties
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to compliance regulations.
Utilise accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Xero.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
