who's got the skills to juggle numbers and clients with style and confidence.

What You'll Be Doing



1.

Bookkeeping Magic



Keeping clients' books tidy using software like Xero, QuickBooks, or Freeagent Managing purchase/sales ledgers, bank recs, and journals like a pro Preparing and submitting MTD VAT returns
2.

Payroll Perfection



Running smooth, accurate payrolls for multiple clients (weekly and monthly using BrightPay - you've got this!) Submitting RTI to HMRC (because timeliness = happiness) Calculating SMP, SSP, pensions, and everything in between Sending out payslips, P45s, P60s and keeping clients in the know
3.

Client Vibes



Chatting with clients (email/phone/Zoom/sometimes in person), making their lives easier Staying ahead of payroll and tax rules so our clients don't have to Spotting ways to improve systems and shouting about them - we love ideas!

You'll Totally Rock This Role If You...



(a) Have hands-on experience in bookkeeping and payroll (bonus points if it's in a practice!)
(b) Know your way around cloud-based systems like Xero, QuickBooks, Freeagent, BrightPay etc.
(c) Are organised, reliable, and allergic to missing deadlines
(d) Can talk numbers without sending people to sleep
(e) Maybe you are an AAT qualified or part qualified bookkeeper, but in all honesty if you have proven experience we care more about what you can do than what letters you have after your name
