We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team at Orthopaedic Services South Yorkshire. We are a small but expanding company, and the ideal candidate will have proven bookkeeping experience, preferably within a similar environment.
You will be responsible to the Office Manager carrying out bookkeeping duties including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and bank reconciliation.
Experience with Xero accounting software is essential, as is a recognised bookkeeping qualification and at least one year's bookkeeping experience. Full training will be provided on our in-house software.
Key responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
Remittance allocation.
Bank reconciliation.
Production of excess letters.
Carry out timely credit control processes, liaising with relevant parties to resolve outstanding accounts.
Collate and prepare monthly payments for approval by the Company Director.
Prepare and issue monthly statements for consultants.
Liaise with accountants to ensure all bookkeeping work complies with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the business.

Qualifications
Essential:
Recognised bookkeeping qualification (i.e. RSA, AAT etc.)
GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Grade C (4) or above.
Experience
Essential:
Minimum one year's experience in bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Knowledge/Skills
Essential:
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload to deadlines.
