Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary: 27,000 (negotiable based on exp)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
A well-established and progressive accountancy and business advisory practice in the Midlands is seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join its expanding client services team. Based across offices in Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth, this full-time, permanent role offers the chance to work with a varied and high-quality client base across multiple sectors.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven bookkeeping experience in a practice or similar environment
Strong working knowledge of financial systems, particularly
Xero
and
Sage
Good understanding of
VAT
rules and processes
High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing directly with clients
Flexibility to occasionally visit clients at their premises
A proactive and professional approach to client service
Willingness to learn, with training provided where necessary
