Job Summary
Join our brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic in the city centre of Altrincham as our first in-house Bookkeeper and play a key role from day one. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented Xero specialist who enjoys bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting in a start-up environment. This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone who wants to work independently and help shape the financial systems of a growing clinic. We are looking for 1 day a week commitment.
What you'll do:
Manage bookkeeping using Xero
Prepare monthly profit & loss accounts and financial reports
Process payroll and issue payslips
Handle accounts payable & supplier payments
Reconcile bank statements & monitor cash flow
Support budgets, management accounts & year-end preparation
liaise with accountants and directors with clear, timely financial updates to keep the bookkeeping up-to-date and error free.
What we're looking for:
AAT qualified or part-qualified
2+ years' UK accountancy practice experience
Strong Xero setup & bookkeeping skills
Experience with payroll, accounts reconciliations & financial reporting
Highly organised, accurate, and independent
Start-up experience a big plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 8,000.00-10,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 per week
