Bookkeeping and Accounts Assistant



Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Responsible for: Bookkeeping and Accounts Administration

Business Area: CEO Office

Functional relationships:

? External Accountants

Location: Remote working policy is in place with office days to meet business demands and regular collaboration days in the Surrey area. Quarterly team meetings held off-site in the Midlands

Hours: Full Time - 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Role Overview



To complete all aspects of bookkeeping to assist external accountants in the production of both monthly management accounts and year end accounts.

Key Accountabilities



Support inbox and reception first response Bookkeeping Business banking and payments Reconciliations Invoicing Credit Control Payroll and commissions Direct Debit collection management Sales statistics and figures Logging and submitting expenses for the exec team Board Pack production Subscriptions and Cancellations Team plan management CRM management including tasks, deals, contacts Data Imports to Hubspot for all alerts and subscriptions Liaising with external accountants for the production of management accounts, payroll, VAT returns, pensions and PAYE//NI

Skills:



Time management, planning and prioritising Excellent organisation skills Attention to detail Computer literate AAT qualification in bookkeeping desired but not essential

Knowledge



Experience of bookkeeping and accounts administration is essential Experience of Xero accounting software Experience of GoCardless and Stripe Experience of HubSpot is preferable but not required

Experience



Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role

Qualifications



AAT, ICB, AIB or equivalent Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or above
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-33,000.00 per year
